Amazon has a guaranteed hit in its hands with the “Outer Range.”
Two more sci-fi / western episodes dropped Friday morning, and that puts the total number of episodes to six. I went through the fifth episode, and I can’t get enough of this series. (UPDATED: ‘Outside It is clean‘It Has Started a Very Powerful Beginning)
Outer Range is an outstanding western / mysterious show, and is a perfect blend of Stranger Things and Yellowstone.

I really don’t know. Now, do I have a clear idea of what is going on? Not at all, and that is the whole point. The show could go a million ways, and anyone who claims to have reached the end is lying.
With five episodes, I just don’t know how anyone can claim to have solved the trippy mystery playing in front of us.
“Outer Range” is a really good mix of “Stranger Things” and “Yellowstone” with a short “Twin Peaks” in it. I have never seen anything like it.
What I do know so far is that Autumn knows a lot more hell than it allows. For example, the conversation between Autumn and Perry is a clear indication that you know more hell than the Abbotts realize, and I’m sure he and Royal Abbott (Josh Brolin) both came from the past.
Other than that, I’m not sure about anything, which is proof of the greatness of this game.
If you have never shot one you owe it to yourself to give it a try.
